I honestly have no clue as to how I found out about Clive Tanaka y su orquesta… but I do know that I’m happy that i did!
With warm weather out of nowhere, it only makes sense to have such a cool and breezy band to accompany it. This song, as well as the rest of the album, sounds best in a car with the windows down, and your cares floating away with the wind!
I’ve known Via Audio since about 2005, back when I used to find bands by heavily searching MySpace. Their most recent album, Animalore, has a very dancey, funk vibe to it. Naturally I choose the most spastic rock tune from the album. These guys are worth checking out their whole albums though, so please do it!
The Redwalls were a band that I’d found out about barely post-breakup. It’s quite a shame, I feel like they would be a great live band. Probably as close to seeing The Beatles as I could. Please check out their music, so good
I kind of grew up with The Hudson Branch, i’ve played shows with them back when they were Before Summer Ends. They’ve always been ahead of the curve as far as local music goes, but they’ve matured even more with this album. You can tell a lot of time went into this album.
The constant flow of synth, harmonies aplenty, and catch guitar riffs will keep you hooked. Check out World Kid again once it’s released on iTunes April 24
Spinto Band are easily one of my favorite live bands, yet they are able to maintain a lot of their high energy antics in their recordings somehow. This Delaware 5 piece will hook you with every song, they just know how to. It’s scary.
So enjoy this brand new song of their’s, part of Shy Pursuit, available May 1st.

Hi Kreg
I’ve been a huge fan of Shai Halperin since I discovered The Capitol Years in 2006. They are still one of my favorite bands to this day, and his new project, Sweet Lights, proves he’s still got song writing skill.
ROAR has inserted itself into my list of favorite bands within seconds of hearing his chaotic pop songs. All of his releases have been EPs rather than LPs, but I’m just happy that the guy keeps spittin’ out tunes!
The two EPs of ROAR are worth checking out, and purchasing immediately after. There is a free download option though, always a plus!
I’m going to start the blog out with Golden Boots. These guys write fuzzy pop songs that sound like they’re being played in a warm desert
